Show and Share

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Some of your classmates share their great teaching ideas in 10-minute presentations.

  • Stacy Forster : Five ways I used what I learned at Teachapalooza in a reporting class I taught last fall
  • Amy Bonebright: How I use Pinterest to engage students
  • Julie Cajigas:  Crowdsourcing: I will show you how I teach students to crowdsource a problem and really tap into collective intelligence.
  • Kay Colley: Back to the basics: Creating weekly reading and writing exercises with a social media twist
  • Lisa Collins- Pro-Am Partnerships : We teamed up with NOLA.com|The Times-Picayune for multiple projects, including a portrait series on the Katrina 10 year anniversary and a series on proms. Students get (off-campus!) story assignments, editing feedback, experience and cool stuff for their portfolio.
  • Bob Gould-TOP HAT- a way to use technology to find out if your students actually understand the course material. This will be a live interactive session so bring your phones.
