I've been teaching Broadcast Journalism at Michigan State University for 17 years. Before that, I worked 17 years in a local TV Newsroom as a Chief Video Photojournalist, creating daily news content. My passion is visual storytelling and teaching students the art of crafting a good story. I recently finished a documentary about Hurricane Maria, a category 5 hurricane that devastated the island of Puerto Rico.
